Welcome to

The Kindness Fun Academy

The Kindness Fun Academy was born from Bajette's Balloon, a children's book about teaching kindness through generosity and thoughtfulness. Author Claudia Colonna created the book to honor her parents and the legacy of generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness they left behind.

But Claudia realized that one book could only go so far. There was an opportunity to build something much bigger: a movement to create a legacy of kindness together. Because you don't have to be famous to leave a legacy. We all have kindness within us. Together, we can unleash it, put it into action, and forge a legacy of kindness that belongs to all of us.

The Kindness Fun Academy was created as a platform to bring that idea to life through programs, experiences, and opportunities designed to help kindness come alive through lived experiences, connection, and something from the heart. Built with talented educators and creative collaborators who share the same passion and heart for this mission, the Academy is for everyone, ages 0 to 99, and comes to life in three settings: school, home, and community.

Together, we can unleash kindness and build that legacy together.

The book characters are a part of this: starring Bajette, Bobby, our guide Balloon and our favorite rebel Rocco (the cat).

Four Pillars

Settings are home, school and organizations/community. The programs, and activities will overlap and be modified to fit each setting.

One of the main goals is to always bring fun in every setting, and especially in the classroom, bringing that fun element will help ease the burdens on teachers when they' students are excited and enjoying what they are learning, the same stuff they learn with the same standards, but with a lot of heart and a lot of energy and fun.

The school programs are getting built out first and the at home programs will follow with YouTube long form and relaxed activities and adventures. Organizations will follow last after the platform and brand is settled and established with some rapport. Some will come from out Kindness in the Community program/lesson plans and some will be parterships with organizations such as Girl Scouts etc.

Kindness Creative Lab

Home: YouTube long-form and website. Parents can download the crafts for free and shop the craft closet.

Classroom: Crafts will be developed with modifications: 1) paper in case resources aren’t available and 2) will be varied materials to supplement and make it easy to adjust. Some crafts will stand alone and some will be integrated with bigger initiatives (bundled in addition to stand alone).

Organizations: this can be event based - more to develop here.

Physical Products

Current products: Bajette’s Balloon and Kindness Merch.

More books will be developed after a platform is established and has traction. Craft kits are also in the roadmap. My nifty new cricut can help move that along in fun ways!

Kindness XP Adventures

Home: YouTube long-form. Challenges will be developed under each of the six quests. We’ll explore each quest and come up with different challenges kids can take on each week. As they complete challenges, they can submit them in whatever format they choose: drawing a picture, taking a photo, acting, singing, dancing, creating a video, or whatever creative way they want to show what they did.

Kids will earn points and badges for completing challenges. Once they collect enough points to advance to the next level, they’ll unlock a prize. Each level will feature a curated, limited-edition type of prize that I want kids to be excited to chase after and get before it’s gone.

As kids advance through the levels, they’ll also earn new responsibilities and opportunities. They might get to design a craft, lead an adventure, recruit others to join an adventure, and more.

Classroom: The classroom version is currently in the project pipeline. The idea is that each class would participate together, earning points and badges as a group. Those points and badges would lead to classroom rewards, such as a pizza party, a virtual book reading with me, crafts sent to the classroom, or another special celebration. The specific rewards are still being fleshed out, but this is currently in the visionary development stage.

Organizations: We can do at home challenges that tie into organizations and the same classroom as we're already doing programs like that, so this can be an interesting dynamic and we are also in the visionary development stage.

Legacy of Kindness Missions

Pass it on with Love is both a quest and a mission/initiatives. Its HUGE!

The Inspiration Behind Bajette’s Balloon

This book is dedicated to my incredible parents, whose generosity knew no bounds. Their natural instinct to give—whether to family, friends, or complete strangers—shaped the person I am today and inspired every page of Bajette’s Balloon. Through this story, I hope to carry forward their legacy and ignite the same spirit of kindness in children and families everywhere.
